Let’s ask them some beauty questions! What’s the most surprising (beauty) product in your bag right now?
My most favourite product has got the be the Egyptian Magic All Purpose Cream. I have such dry skin and this works perfectly!
What are your current favourite beauty products?
Always Hanskin hyaluron real complexion skin essence, such a great find! Thanks to my dear skin care guru friend Romy.

In the morning I usually don’t wash my face, I do Hanskin’s essence, or mixsoon bean essence and then Egyptian magic and after that SPF, of course.
Do you have a secret hair product or tip/trick?
I have no special hair care routine, currently Lutster’s Pink grow complex. If you are a Black girl, you know ;)
What’s the most recent beauty addition to your bag and what’s the story behind it?
I just love Needly face wash. It makes my skin look so glowy and it doesn’t make my skin feel dry.
What’s one beauty trend you think is here to stay?
Glass skin! I hope it stays, I love it!
What’s the most impactful beauty advice you’ve ever received?
Always SPF and not having to wash my skin every morning!
What’s your secret weapon for looking fresh after a long travel day or a busy work day?
Nars concealer and hollywood flawless filter from Charlotte Tilbury.
What are some exciting beauty brands at the moment and why?
I am not great at this haha, but I am always such a fan of Glossier cosmetics and namely the cloud paint blush.

The beauty gods murmur their secrets to those who dare to listen
Sometimes I wander toward the river, threading my way through the shadowed embrace of ancient woods. The path leads me to a cave encircled by ancient stones, where I am to be silent, so I can tap into the whispers of the beauty gods. Sound familiar? no? well that’s why you subscribe to soft glow.
This is what - may or may not - have caught my ear’s attention:
Laneige is coming soon with tinted lip serums!!! Colours *might* be chocolate frosting, cinnamon sugar, sugar glaze and peach glaze (gagged!) No idea where/when/(if?) they will be launched but I’m excited!!
Speaking of which, Tower28 just launched a new lip tint shade for their LipSoftie line: one of my favorite lip formulas ever. Their six-word description for the shade: red bean mochi sheer rosie nude. The aspirational archetype here seems to be a girl with lush lips and an impressive memory (no, I’m not that girl, and yes, I aspire to be that girl). Well done, Tower28!
Premium body care brand Nécessaire just launched The Lip Balm, containing a blend of several types of ceramides, the silent super heroes needed for a healthy skin barrier.
Ouai also has been extending their product categories by taking their most popular shampoo and launching… a version for the face. Bold move! Whether their audience will embrace it or raise an eyebrow remains to be seen, but it’s certainly a conversation starter. Ouai Detox Face Wash
The FDA (The US food & drug administration that the Trump administration wants to ban) announced a recall of more than 2700 jars of First Aid Beauty’s Ultra repair cream in coconut vanilla. "This product was not intended for market sale," First Aid Beauty noted in a statement on its website.
The FDA added the recall was due to a "Current Good Manufacturing Practice deviation," which doesn't necessarily mean there is anything wrong with the product. It just means that it was not manufactured in a way that complies with CGMP.
The clean beauty brand commented "We know that the word 'recall' can feel unsettling, but we assure you that this product met quality standards, we strive to ensure all consumers have the best possible experience with our products."
and lastly, almost exactly 1 year after she created the iconic Margiela couture show look with porcelain doll-like model faces - Path McGrath just launched the long awaited glass skin formula used on their skins. I can’t wait to try this one!
